Confined Space Rescue Training

Confined Space Rescue Awareness
This course gives participants an understanding of Confined Spaces, Confined Space hazards, and how to avoid those hazards. Topics covered include Confined Space identification, site control and scene management, implementing a Confined Space Rescue response, Confined Space Rescue equipment, non-entry rescue, and NFPA 1006 and 1670 Awareness level and OSHA 1910.146 standards and response guidelines.

Confined Space Rescue Operations
This 24-hour course teaches personnel how to properly conduct Confined Space Rescue operations. This course focuses hazard identification, case studies of actual incidents, atmospheric monitoring, ventilation, lock out/tag out procedures, entry permit requirements, CSR checklists, team entry operations, command and support operations, ropes, knots, and auxiliary equipment, mechanical advantage systems, and patient packaging and removal operations. This course meets NFPA 1006 and 1670 Operations level and OSHA 1910.146 standards and response guidelines. Operations level training is intended for line of sight rescues with non-limited access and non-IDLH atmospheres. Multiple hands on scenarios and skill stations performed in a team based approach.  

Confined Space Rescue Technician
This 40 hour course teaches personnel how to properly conduct Confined Space rescue operations. This course focuses hazard identification, Case studies of actual incidents, atmospheric monitoring, ventilation, lock out/tag out procedures, entry permit system requirements, CSR checklists, team entry operations, command and support operations, ropes, knots, and auxiliary equipment, mechanical advantage systems, multiple rescuer entries, IDLH atmosphere entries for rescue, air system selection and use, and patient packaging and removal operations. This course meets NFPA 1006 and 1670 Technician level and OSHA 1910.146 standards and response guidelines. Technician level training is intended for non-line of sight rescues with limited access and IDLH atmospheres. Multiple hands on scenarios and skill stations performed in a team based approach.

Confined Space Rescue refresher training

We also offer annual refresher training to keep teams in practice and up to date on the latest technology, skills, and equipment.  

Our courses are designed for intensive hands on training with a minimum amount of classroom time. We can provide some or all of the equipment needed for the training or use your equipment, as long as it is compliant with national standards and regulations.
