Trench Rescue Awareness
This course gives participants an understanding of trench rescues, trench hazards, how to avoid those hazards, and how to implement a Trench Rescue response. Topics covered include Trench Rescue identification, trench collapse patterns, vibration control, and utility isolation. NFPA 1006 and 1670 awareness level and OSHA 1926 sub-part P standards and response guidelines.

Trench Rescue Operations
This 24-hour class teaches personnel how to effectively protect themselves from the hazards and potential dangers of trench collapse. Specific trench operations including scene safety, vibration and utility isolation, scene management, identify probable victim locations, perform risk/benefit analysis, ventilation and de-watering procedures, atmospheric monitoring, sheeting and shoring material preparation, timber and aluminum support system construction for non intersecting trenches less than 10 feet deep, and entry operations, patient packaging and extrication. Multiple hands on field exercises in live trenches operating in a team based approach. in accordance with NFPA 1006 and 1670 operations level and OSHA 1926 sub-part P standards and response guidelines.

Trench Rescue Technician
This 40-hour class teaches personnel how to effectively protect themselves from the hazards and potential dangers of trench collapse. Specific trench operations including scene safety, vibration and utility isolation, scene management, identify probable victim locations, perform risk/benefit analysis, ventilation and de-watering procedures, atmospheric monitoring, sheeting and shoring material preparation, timber and aluminum support system construction for straight, L, T, & X trenches up to 15 feet deep, supplemental sheeting and shoring, single and double wall collapse, inside and outside walers,  and entry operations and patient packaging and extrication. Multiple hands on field exercises in live trenches operating in a team based approach. In accordance with NFPA 1006 and 1670 operations level and OSHA 1926 sub-part P standards and response guidelines.

Trench Rescue refresher training
We also offer annual refresher training to keep teams in practice and up to date on the latest technology, skills, and equipment.
