Heavy Vehicle and Machinery Rescue Technician
This 40 hour course is for teams who have the potential respond to Heavy Vehicle and Machinery accidents. the topics include: hazard identification and mitigation, site control and scene management, lockout tag out, fuel leak control and containment, heavy vehicle and machinery anatomy, advanced stabilization, rigging principles, heavy lifting using air bags/cranes/wreckers, vehicle under rides, resource assessment, hand and hydraulic tool selection and usage, and advanced disentanglement and packaging techniques.This course meets NFPA 1006 & 1670.
Our courses are designed for intensive hands on training with a minimum amount of classroom time. We can provide some of the equipment needed for the training or use your equipment, so long as it is compliant with national standards and regulations.
